About Us

From a young age I have always been interested in hunting, but always looking for a challenge. Nearly thirty years ago, I purchased my first traditional bow. A cheap recurve that was very unpleasant to shoot. Regardless of this, I was still hooked on the challenge of taking an animal with my bow. Years later, I had a gentleman make a longbow custom for me. Immediately this turned my world upside down. I never realized how much difference time, expertise, and craftsmanship would have on the shootability and beauty of a bow. Eventually my son, Jake, became interested in the art of instinctive archery. As he bought his bow, I was intrigued at the idea of building one myself.

Utilizing the woodshop that my father Gary, a skilled woodworker, had been building and improving for years. I began to take on a new challenge… building the bows. The bow I had in mind was something that is fast, accurate, and great for hunting, so I designed the Twisted Ditch Reflex-Deflex. This brings us where we are today, making a hobby into a small business. All bows are made by myself, my son Jake, and my father Gary. Bows will be built custom with any features you want.
